thatch & co officially came into existence on 3rd January 2006 having evolved from Volker & Volker Ltd. We believe that estate agency is essentially a cottage industry because each area has its own peculiarities, each street its own value, and it is often the small, single agency staffed by people who know the area well which can provide the best service.

Our main areas are West Dulwich, Dulwich Village, East Dulwich, Herne Hill, Crystal Palace & Gipsy Hill, Tulse Hill & West Norwood, Sydenham & Sydenham Hill although we will and do market properties outside these areas.

As well as properties for sale and to let, the website helps clients through the moving process by telling them what to expect when selling, buying, letting or renting, and provides information on lifestyle, transport, schools, restaurants, bars and shops and the kind of property available in each area. There are also (or will be soon!) links to solicitors, surveyors, mortgage brokers, cleaners, curtain makers, rubbish removers, handymen, removal companies . . . the list goes on.

As well as opening 6 days a week, we offer accompanied viewings, late night viewings by appointment and floor plans on all properties.
